Hi Aaron — Great question! Designing for sublimated hat patches will be the same as other dye-sublimation products. Because there is no white ink in dye-sublimation, the unprinted patch is white to begin with. Any areas of your design file that are transparent or white will remain unprinted. That means if you’d like to have white text on the final product, you’ll need to add a background color to fill the rest of the file.

Is there now a white that we can use on the new vegan patches for sublimation, or do the old sublimation instructions still apply? I have a few designs that use white and I want to know if the white will show up or if I need to redesign them around the brown background.
